How to Stay Fashionable this Upcoming Winter

Everyone loves the holidays, but with winter approaching, it’s essential to have clothing that is warm enough to support you during all of your travels. For example, if you’re traveling from one building to another on your college campus, this is not the season to be sporting spring floral dresses or summer jean shorts. Although it may seem impossible, staying fashionable and warm is certainly attainable.

One of the greatest fashion accessories out there are scarves. This makes finding a winter scarf easy as pie. The only problem you will have is selecting which one you want to wear! Not only do scarves come in endless colors and patterns, but they can be worn in different ways as well. Of course, the obvious way to wear a winter scarf is around your neck. However, did you ever think of tying a scarf around your waist as substitute for a belt? Scarves also look captivating when tied around the strap of a purse. Another very popular option is to tie it around your head—this is extraordinarily fashionable during this time of year.

Another crucial accessory to wear for this winter is a knit beanie. Beanies keep your ears warm and prepare you for the cold winter days ahead of you. They are really trendy this year, so it is highly recommended to purchase a nice knit hat or beanie to go along with your winter scarf.

Additionally, boots will play a fundamental role in your winter wardrobe this year. You could wear booties, knee-high boots, combat boots—it doesn’t matter, as long as your feet are warm and the material protects enough against snow or abnormally cold temperatures.

Also, don’t forget cotton leggings. In the event that you must wear a skirt or dress, keep your legs safe from the cold with thick and protective leggings.

Enjoy the winter in a fashionable way this year with these winter essentials.

Three Places to Wear Leg Warmers and Tights

Have you been a little fed up with your wardrobe lately?  If you’re looking for a simple solution, consider leg warmers or tights. These gems can go a long way to adding something colorful and creative to your outfit. Below are three areas where tights, leggings, or leg warmers will come in handy.

At the workplace

Suggested colors or patterns to wear: black, gray, tan, and brown
If you work in a typical office environment, tights can be a great addition. Let’s say that you work in the city and have to take a bus to get to your office. When it starts to get colder outside, wearing a dress alone might not be sufficient enough. Although we are only in September, the weather is going to change before our very eyes. Tights will keep your warmer and will accentuate your office dress perfectly. Wear a pair of gray tights with a solid black dress and heels. You’ll be ready for work in no time.

To the club

Suggested colors or patterns to wear: black, magenta, neon, multi-colored, sheer, and fishnet
That’s right, ladies. If you are looking to capture some attention at the club later, wear a pair of tights. Let’s say you are wearing your favorite navy blue cut-out dress and need a little something to add to it. The answer is a pair of tights or leg warmers. It’s up to your discretion on which color you choose to wear, but for club attire, sheer or fishnet patterns work extremely well.

Over your boyfriend’s

Recommended colors and patterns to wear: Mint, baby blue, sheer, black, light pink, and brown
One great thing about tights is that they are extremely versatile. You can dress them up or down according to how you feel. For example, if you were to visit your boyfriend and wanted something casual and relaxed to wear, don’t be afraid to put tights under shorts. This can be a really interesting look—and it’s extremely comfortable. Of course, if you want to look like a true diva, you can always add a pair of tights underneath a skirt with your favorite crop top.

Tights, leg warmers, and leggings are very popular this year and can transform any outfit.  If you are a working woman, a party girl, or you want to look cute for your next date, leggings can make a total difference.

The Top Fashionable Trends for this Fall

If you’re a fashion-conscientious person, you might already be aware of autumn coming around the corner. New seasons are lovely, since they are a time of environmental change and temperature. However, it’s important to adapt to environment, which means a new wardrobe could be in order. To stay fashionable this fall, consider the following trends:

Color scheme

For fall, you will want to stick to a good color scheme which represents the season. Take a look around you: autumn is a time where there are very rich colors, such as browns, yellows, and reds. Keep your color scheme tight with the occasional use of a neutral, such as gray, tan, or black. Other colors, like maroon and gold, also work well for your new fall fashion wardrobe.

Layering pieces

You will need plenty of adorable layering pieces for the fall. This is a time where the weather is getting cooler, so think about jackets. They don’t have to be extremely heavy; a good example is a leather jacket in a good fall color. Cardigans are another great option.  Styles with long sleeves are ideal for this time of year, since it can get chilly quickly in certain areas.

Autumn accessories

Much like the layering pieces, accessories play an important role in keeping you warm while simultaneously making you look cool. Women’s hats are a great fall fashion idea. The selection of women’s hats out there should be relative to the color scheme of fall, much like the rest of autumn accessories. Scarfs are another great idea—they make you look both chic and fashionable in an instant. Neutral-colored belts are also perfect accessory options for the fall.

This year, stay fashionable and trendy with layering pieces and autumn accessories which match the color scheme of fall.

Versatile Women's Socks

Women's socks come in a variety of lengths, colors, bold designs and materials to fill an assortment of practical and stylish needs from just something comfortable to cover the feet to unusual patterns. Materials include cotton, soft knits, chenille and warm and fuzzy argyle. Feet have to meet unique challenges whether walking, running, jogging or participating in sports. Therefore, socks need to provide support and durability. A fashion savvy woman likes to get attention with eye-catching designs that will get her noticed in a roomful of people as the socks add to her ensemble.

Regular crew socks have been made much more interesting with the addition of surprising patterns such as butterflies, pink ribbons, stripes, pianos, guitars, rodeo, bananas, cats, dogs, zebras, monkeys and even patriotic flags.

Ankle socks come with colorful swirls, florals, rainbows, animal faces and more.

Popular knee highs can be seen with red and black polka dots, plaids, winter prints, leopards, hanging monkeys, tigers, strawberries, hearts, roses, and black floral lace tops for the ultimate scenario.

Slipper socks are comfortable and warm in the colder months and can be "jazzed up" with rag dolls or ballerinas. These women’s’ socks may be of a knit material and have a non-slip sole.

Skate socks are thin, lightweight and worn inside the skate. Merino wool is a durable and insulating natural fiber that keeps the skin dry if you are sweating and cools your feet off when they are hot. The synthetic Olefin is a Nobel Prize winning fiber because of its breathability as it retains less than .0l percent of its weight in moisture while it resists deterioration from perspiration and detergents.
